De burger aan zet!

Drie op de vier Nederlanders hebben geen vertrouwen meer in de Tweede Kamer (bron: CBS, mei 2026). Belangrijke problemen worden niet opgelost. Het leven wordt onbetaalbaar en de druk op onze veiligheid en ons welzijn neemt toe. Ondernemers haken af door stijgende kosten en veel te veel regels. Ook de Algemene Rekenkamer is hard in haar oordeel: het kabinet heeft de eigen financiën en plannen niet op orde.

Wij kunnen niet blijven wachten op oplossingen uit Den Haag. Het is hoog tijd om zelf aan de slag te gaan. Wij hebben het Recht van Vereniging, en starten de BurgerUnie. Van, voor en door u, de burger van Nederland.

Wat is de BurgerUnie™

De BurgerUnie is een Coöperatieve Vereniging (Coöperatie) voor én door particulieren en ondernemers. Wij zijn onafhankelijk van politieke partijen en de overheid. Via de BurgerUnie beslissen we samen democratisch wat belangrijk is en zorgen we dat onze stem wél telt in Den Haag en de media. Oplossingsgericht, opbouwend en zonder geschreeuw. Dit is de nieuwe Rechtstreekse Democratie.

Een gemotiveerde groep deskundige vrijwilligers bouwt de BurgerUnie op dit moment op. Wij houden u graag op de hoogte en kunnen zeker ook nog enthousiaste hulp gebruiken.

The Citizen Takes the Lead!

Three out of four Dutch citizens no longer have confidence in the The Dutch parliament (Tweede Kamer), which makes laws and holds the government to account. (source: CBS, May 2026). Important problems remain unresolved. Life is becoming unaffordable, while the pressure on our safety and well-being continues to grow. Entrepreneurs are giving up due to rising costs and far too many regulations. Even the Netherlands Court of Audit is highly critical in its assessment: the government has failed to get its own finances and plans in order.

We cannot keep waiting for solutions from The Hague. It is high time we took matters into our own hands. We have the right to form associations, and we are launching the BurgerUnie (the Citizens’ Union). By the citizens, for the citizens, and of the citizens of the Netherlands.

What is the BurgerUnie™?

The BurgerUnie is a Cooperative Association for and by private individuals and entrepreneurs. We are independent of political parties and the government.

Through the BurgerUnie, we make democratic decisions together about what matters most and ensure that our voices are heard in The Hague and in the media. Focused on solutions, constructive, and without shouting. This is the new Straight Democracy.
